OUR STORY
Bandit Fire Protection Services is a proudly Albertan company, owned and operated by Wayne Palmer and family, with our Main Office in Sturgeon County and Branch Office in the MD of Bonnyville, Alberta.
Wayne started with his Sprinkler Fitter accreditation in 1988 from Red Deer College. Over the course of 30 years the business has now grown to include versatile service to all businesses; Industrial, Schools, Government, Hospitality Industry, Hospitals, Retirement Residences, Multi-Family and First Nations projects. Wayne likes to say he is now “a one stop shop fire guy”, with the ability to coordinate crews for projects large and small, across a multitude of trades.
PLEASE MEET BANDIT…
People ask Wayne all the time why he chose the name “Bandit” for a service-oriented business. Please meet Bandit! That dog was a true survivor. Deserted by her original family, Bandit was a stray that was left to fend for herself. She came to us and not only gave us an idea for a business name and the trademarked “B” in the bandit mask logo, she also blessed us with 12 puppies shortly after her arrival. While she had a tough start, once she chose our family to become a member of, Bandit had a pretty great life. She was an awesome dog and Bandit grew old with us. Sadly, we lost her in 2015.
SERVICE LOCATIONS
Our main service area is the greater Edmonton area, Bonnyville, Lakeland County and Cold Lake. We do have the capability of working throughout the province, so please call for a quote if your job is outside of our immediate service area. If we’re not able to complete the work for you, we have many industry connections and would be happy to make a referral for you. We are also happy to supply business references upon request.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
It is important to give back to our community in a meaningful way and we contribute regularly to our personal charities. We support local businesses, local non-profits and are avid supporters of pet rescues. Friday nights in the summer, you will typically find us at an Edmonton Eskimos game (our team) and in the winter, we support the Edmonton Oilers. If your local organization needs help with a fundraiser, please get in touch, we are happy to contribute if it is in keeping with our charitable giving guidelines.
